Malicious code can be hidden inside a webpage and collect data about you without your knowledge, create popups, redirect your browser or even access your files to give a few examples. Most people use Internet explorer to brwose the web which has, like all other browsers, advantages but also disadvantages. You can visit each browserpage seperatly or you can take a 'tour'.
