What is an Exploit?

An exploit is a piece of software, mostly a script trying to use security holes in practically everything from routers to browsers. Effects of exploits can range from installing adware to taking over control of a system.

How do I get rid of it? You can't an exploit makes use of security holes in software. After an exploit is published the producer of the software will try to create a fix to patch the hole. The only way to avoid being exploited is updating your programs regularly.
