Trojanhunter Tutorial
The program is easy to use, but for those who want some screenshots of the program or need a tutorial: here you go.
- After downloading the program, start trojanhunter.exe The installation wizard appears, press next
- Now the license agreement popup. read it carefully and, when you agree, check the 'I accept box and press next
- Choose the folder to ssntall the program to. The default folder is just fine, but when you want to install the program in a different folder, you can change it here. After choosing a folder press 'next' once again
- You'll be asked to create a program group to create the shortcuts. The same applies as above, the default group is fine, but if you want to change it, you can do so now, afterwards press next
- Now for the final step before installation takes palce you can create a icon which will appear in the quick launch bar (the bar next to the 'start' button at the bottom of your desktop)
- A installation summary will be presented, when you want to change anything, press the back button, when everything is setup as you want it press install to start installing. Installation will take a few seconds to minutes, depending on the configuration of your computer
- Just before the installation is finished the next screen will appear. Choose 'yes' to update the program
- Updating will take a few seconds,d epending on your connection speed. After updating, press 'ok'
- Now to complete the setup check all boxes and press finish
- After starting the program the following screen will appear. Here you can choose to continue the trial or you can purchase a license or import a license you allready own
- The following icon in the taskbar belongs to Trojanhunter
(trojanhunter is enabled)

Now, for configuring and using Trojanhunter, read the tutorial below
- Start Trojanhunter, either by rightclicking on the taskbar icon and choosing 'run trojanhunter' or by using the start->programs->Trojanhunter icon
- Goto options (menu on the left) and check all items checked in the following screenshot
- All other options are set just fine so I'll continue explaining the useage of Trojanhunter
- Go to scan (menu on the left), check all your drives and choose 'full scan'. You need to do this only once, because the realtime protection agent will scan all files installed and downloaded after installation of trojanhunter
- The scanning will take quite some time, so sit back and relax. After scanning you're given the option to delete detected trojans, do so. From now on, when you want to do a scan, you can use 'quick scan'
- Now for the last functions goto the 'tools' menu. Here are a view tools, not cleaners, listed which will show you: The running processes and files they use, Programs loaded when starting windows, Current Network Connections, Windows, hidden and visible and programs loaded into the memory.
