Norton problems
Problem: I cannot uninstall/remove Norton using the add/remove software menu. Or: Norton has been removed using the add/remvoe software menu but it's still present. (Applies to all Norton products)
Solution:
When removing Norton 2003 or earlier use this tool and follow instructions. For all other versions of Norton products, look below
1. Download Msifix
2. Download Symnrt and
3. Download the Regfix
4. Execute the misfix.bat first, second symnrt.exe and last the regfix file. Restart afterwards.
